When you first open HJEM you can create a new home or join an existing one. To join a home someone else has already created, ask them to send you an invite (from Home → the home name at the top → Invite) — either as an email invite or a shareable code.
Lists, calendar events, habits, and Vault documents sync in real time between everyone in the same home. If something looks out of date, pull down to refresh on any screen, or check your internet connection.
In Settings → Calendar Sync you can export your home's calendar into your phone's built-in Calendar app, and import events from calendars you already have. This needs your permission the first time, from iOS itself.
You can turn off any specific type of notification (new list items, calendar events, reminders, the daily digest, habit reminders) in Settings → Notifications, and mute notifications for one specific list without muting everything else.
You can delete your own account, or (if you're the admin) delete an entire home, from Settings. Both are permanent and remove the associated data. If you'd rather we do it for you, email us and we'll take care of it.
