HJEM Privacy Policy

HJEM ("we," "our," "the app") is a household management app for you and the people you share a household with, developed by O LORD AB. This policy explains what data we collect and how it's used.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, display name, and (if you use Sign in with Apple) the identifiers and name Apple shares with us.
• Household data: the households you create or join, and their members.
• Lists and tasks: titles, descriptions, assignees, deadlines, icons, and completion status for items you and your household create.
• Calendar events: titles, times, and details for events you and your household create.
• Vault documents: PDF files you choose to upload (e.g. passports, insurance documents, receipts), and the categories you organize them into.
• Push notification tokens: used to deliver reminders and activity notifications to your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use this data solely to provide the app's functionality: authenticating you, syncing your household's lists, calendar, and documents in real time between household members, and sending you notifications you've opted into.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Who We Share Data With

• Other members of your household can see the household data you create, by design — that's the app's purpose.
• Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, hosts our database, file storage, and authentication on our behalf, under their own data processing terms.
• Apple processes Sign in with Apple authentication and delivers push notifications via Apple Push Notification service.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Security

Household data is protected with row-level access controls so that only members of a household can access that household's data. Vault documents are stored in private cloud storage, not publicly accessible.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your personal data and household data (where you're the only remaining member) within a reasonable time of your request.

Children's Privacy

HJEM is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
